Disability Support Worker

Position Overview:

We are seeking a mature, professional, and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a NDIS participant who lives independently in her own home. The Participant has excellent communication skills, enjoys maintaining family and community connections, and is committed to living as independently as possible. She requires support with managing day-to-day life matters, maintaining her home environment, attending appointments, community participation, and coordinating practical aspects of her life. This role would suit someone who has a genuine interest in empowering people to maintain their independence, exercise choice and control, and achieve their personal goals. Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced accountant to identify and rectify ineffective financial reporting and accounting processes, coach and mentor the Head of Finance and team responsible for finance, quality and regulatory compliance and performance.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a part-time role responsible for providing effective support to, and oversight of a small Finance team of four staff responsible for finance, quality compliance and performance, and legislative and policy requirements. The position will provide strategic advice to the CEO and will be co-opted to the arbias Executive team and FRAC committee as required.
